Located about three miles southwest of South Lake Tahoe, Lake Tahoe Airport is a public airport covering 248 acres. It has one runway and is sometimes referred to as Tahoe Valley Airport. The airport was opened in 1959 and currently serves Air California, Air Pacific, Allegiant Air, American Airlines, and many other airlines.
