Tahoe Park, Sacramento, Sacramento County, California
Tahoe Park, a neighborhood located within Sacramento, is generally used to describe several official and unofficial neighborhoods surrounding Tahoe Park proper. These include Tahoe Park East, Tahoe Park South, Tahoe Terrace, and West Tahoe Park. There are multiple parks located in the area including Tahoe Park, named for the park in the heart of the neighborhood, and Mae Fong Park, a 3.25 acre park in the East neighborhood of Tahoe Park. Like many other areas of Sacramento, the area grew rapidly following the end of World War II. Due to action from the city and community, the city has seen a resurgence after sharp economic changes between the 1960s and 1980s.
