Davis Flight Support, Aviation Avenue, Yolo County, California
Located about six miles northeast of Winters, California, Yolo County Airport is used for general aviation. While many of the flights to and from the airport are related to farming or recreation, there are a few commercial flights coming to and from the airport. Yolo County Airport also houses and active skydiving community including the SkyDance SkyDiving school. It was originally built in 1942 by the United States Army Air Forces and the United States Army Corps of Engineers before closing and being turned over to local government following World War II.
