Known as one of the historic neighborhoods in Sacramento, California, Boulevard Park is full of history. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is located north of E Street and south of J street. The second subdivision of the area was originally used as a race track, but the land was sold in 1905 who turned the land into three different subsections. Follow World War 2, many residents moved out of the area into newer suburbs, leaving behind these neighborhoods as boarding houses. The subdivision contains roughly 300 buildings today, and it is listed as the largest neighborhood located in Sacramento on the National Register of Historic Places.
