Located across the Sacramento River, The I Street Bridge is a historic swing bridge that links Sacramento, California to Yolo County. It was originally built in 1911 and was originally part of state Route 16. There are two walkways for pedestrians to cross, one on each side of the street. This bridge was built to replace a timber Howe truss swing span bridge which had been built in 1967.
