Often referred to as the Auburn-Foresthill Bridge, the Foresthill Bridge is the tallest deck by height in California and the fourth highest in the United States. It is a road bridge that crosses over the North Fork American River in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Foresthill Bridge was put in the spotlight during the 2002 film, XXX. Vin Diesel’s character is seen driving off the bridge before parachuting to safety.
