Sacramento City College is located in Sacramento and is a public community college. The school was originally founded in 1916 as a department of Sacramento High School. It is currently the 7th oldest public community college in California. At the school, there are over 50 student clubs and groups on campus and multiple athletics including baseball, which is the most recognized sport at the school with multiple state titles. A few notable athletes who attended Sacramento City College are sprinter Malachi Davis, jumper Sheila Hudson, and weightlifting three-time medalist Tommy Kono.
