University Airport is located two nautical miles west of the central business district in Davis, California. The airport is a public-use airport operated by the Transportation Services of the University of California, Davis. It is the only campus within the UC system that has its own airport. The airport covers 95 acres and houses one asphalt paved runway. University Airport was opened in 1946 before being acquired by the university just four years later.
