East Sacramento, Sacramento County, California, 95814
East Sacramento is a neighborhood located east of Downtown Sacramento. Among various other attractions, McKinley park, a large, 32 acre park, is located in East Sacramento. Within the park is a public library, a small lake, and tennis courts. Within the smaller park, the Shepard Gardens and Arts Center also attract many visitors, especially runners and walkers. East Sacramento is a coveted area of Sacramento because of the beautiful parks and easy access to the interstates. President Ronal Reagan lived in the area, on 45th Street, while serving much of his time as the Governor to California. East Sacramento is a relatively diverse area with a large mix of White, Hispanic, Asian, Black, and other demographics.
