The California Museum is located in the capitol of California, Sacrament. It was originally called the Golden State Museum when it was opened in 1998. Over time, the name was changed to the California Museum, and through private contributions, the museum was able to fund various programs and operations. One of the main attractions in the California Museum is the California Hall of Fame. It also houses the California Hall of Fame Ceremony when the state presents the new California Hall of Fame inductees. A few notable additions to this exhibit include actors Harrison Ford, John Wayne, and many others.
