The California State Fair is an annual state fair located in California that has been active, off-and-on, since 1854. It is located in Sacramento, and the faire features animal displays, culinary competitions, live music, and many other family friendly activities. While the faire was shut down throughout COVID, it is now back to its annual cadence. Some of the major features include ride operations, which are rides and games operated during the state fair including at least 50 carnival rides, and the monorail, which is a permanent monorail system that is found at the fairgrounds where the California State Fair takes place.
