Rio Vista, Solano County, California
The Rio Vista Bridge, also known as the Helen Madere Memorial Bridge, carries California State Route 12 across the Sacramento River in Rio Vista, California. It is a continuous truss span that also contains a vertical lift in the middle. The bridge is named after vice-mayor of Rio Vista, Helen Madere. In 2013, the bridge carried roughly 21,000 cars each day.
