Natomas Map

A community located in northwestern Sacramento, Natomas was historically an agricultural area found on the floodplains of the Sacramento River. However, starting in the mid-1990s, the area began to grow rapidly. Due to the large amount of employment, retail, and entertainment, Natomas is known as one of the most important edge cities in the Greater Sacramento area. One of the major features found in Natomas is the Sleep Train Arena, which is the previous home of the Sacramento Kings. The Sacramento International Airport is also found within the boundaries of Natomas. There are also a variety of outdoor activities to do in Natomas including biking, hiking, and visiting parks.
