Jedidiah Smith Memorial Trail Map

The Jedediah Smith Memorial Trail is a popular trail that is paved and can be used by walkers, runners, and bikes. It is located just north of Downtown Sacramento. It is 32 miles long and is primarily used as a recreational destination, but many cyclists also use the trail as a commuter artery. The trail is named after fur trapper Jedediah Smith who explored the area east of Sacramento. The trail passes many notable landmarks including Discovery Park, Sutter’s Landing Park, the Guy West Bridge, and many others. It is known as one of the longest paved trails in the United States.
